6/19 - From Earth to Universe | Delta College Planetarium | 2:00 PM

Revel in the splendor of the various worlds in the solar system and the ferocity of the scorching Sun. The show then leaves our home to take the audience out to the colorful birthplaces and burial grounds of stars, and still further out, beyond the Milky Way, to the unimaginable immensity of countless galaxies. 6/19 - Paul Kusmierz Opening Reception | Studio 23 | 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Studio 23 will host a memorial exhibition honoring local artist Paul Kusmierz from June 19 to July 3, 2025. Kusmierz, a Bay City native who passed away in 2023, was known for his sold-out exhibitions of paintings, drawings, and sculptures inspired by his travels and Michigan landscapes. A public opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 19, from 5–7 p.m., with light refreshments provided.

Offered Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00–3:00 PM, this two-hour cruise along the Saginaw River features live narration highlighting local history, landmarks like the lighthouse, and area wildlife. Designed for families, friends, and groups, the tour balances light commentary with time to relax and enjoy the scenery.

6/20 - Drawing Caricatures | Studio 23 | 2:00 PM

This class is for any level of student who wants to develop their drawing skills. Working from photos and real life, students will learn how to identify and exaggerate the key features of a face. This workshop will encourage using the elements and style they are strongest with to take their art to the limit. Registration is required.

Celeste, a curious young girl, dreams of exploring the universe and discovering new Earths. One night, while reading about astronomy, she's visited by MOON, who takes her on a cosmic journey. 6/20 - Member Sip & Swirl | Studio 23 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Studio 23 is excited to offer its valued members a free workshop with artist Rochelle Dula! Participants will be guided step-by-step in creating a peaceful sunset scene featuring a boat on a lake. All materials—including canvas, paints, and brushes—are provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a beverage, a snack, and an open mind as they create their own 8x10-inch masterpiece. Join this free, all-levels lower-body and core workout under the sycamore trees at Wenonah Park, set against beautiful river views. The pod-style class includes a warm-up, progressive interval training, core finisher, and cool down — with options to increase intensity using dumbbells or bodyweight. Participants should bring a mat or towel and water, and can expect a fun, effective session focused on strength, balance, and endurance.

The 3rd Annual Summer Bay City Makers Market will take place on June 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Historical Museum of Bay County, located at 321 Washington Avenue.
