11/14 - Four Walls Made a World Opening Reception | Studio 23 | 5:00 PM

Laura Cavanagh’s series of pastel drawings is inspired by simple interior spaces, drawing on personal memories and inspired by films and TV series from the 1950s and ‘60s. She finds joy in studying light and in using color in vibrant, unexpected ways. The omission of figures from her work allows viewers to place themselves in the space of etherealness, quietude, and calm, while capturing a sense of nostalgia.

Join Studio 23 for an opening reception celebrating Laura's artwork. This event is free and open to the public with light refreshments.
